Pitip divides the total (tip included) evenly across the number of people you specify. Perfect for group meals, and everyone pays their fair share.
You can round the final total up or down to a cleaner number. This is especially useful when paying cash. Pitip automatically adjusts the tip to make the total land on a round amount.
Use "Make total…" on iPhone or Android. Enter exactly what you want to pay, and Pitip back-calculates the tip percentage that gets you there.
By design. The watch app is intentionally streamlined for speed and discretion. For splitting, rounding, target totals, and pre-tax tipping, use the full mobile app on your phone.
Check your split count, rounding settings, and whether pre-tax mode is enabled. Each setting affects the final total.
Force quit the app and relaunch. If the problem persists, restart your device. As a last resort, delete and reinstall. Your settings will reset but your data is not lost because nothing is stored.
Ensure your watch and phone are paired and both running the latest version of Pitip and their respective OS. A watch restart often resolves sync issues.
